The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Florida believes in inspiring and empowering God's people to embrace a life of anti-racism and pro-reconciliation. The objective of the ARPR committee is to facilitate our move through reflection to implementation.
This required training will be on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Zoom including at least 1-2hrs of pre-reading of the first three chapters of the book The Racial Healing Handbook by Anneliese A. Singh, PhD, LPC.

In this training you will receive:
1) Clarity and revelation on what it means to be an anti-racist and pro-reconciling leader.
2) Context on the complexities of the conversation on race.
3) Reflection on our own experiences and where we find ourselves on the journey.
4) Practical ways to help others join the conversation.
5) Tools to lead conversations with confidence.
This training meets requirements for Standing in the Florida Region. Attendance and participation is require for the entire meeting for this credit to be earned.
