FLORIDA DISCIPLES MEN COMMISSION

2023-2024 FDM Commission

The Florida Disciples Men's Ministries Commission serves Florida Disciples, as well as the greater community, by encouraging men to grow in faith, fellowship and service.  

As a leadership team, the Commission seeks to: 

> Support and encourage local Disciples Men's Fellowships

> Plan the annual statewide Disciples Men's Fall Retreat at the Retreat at Silver Springs (Florida Disciples' Retreat Center near Ocala)

> Organize quarterly Work Days in support of the Retreat at Silver Springs

> Participate and represent Men's Ministries in Regional and District events

> Represent Florida Disciples Men's Ministries national and international commissions and events of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

> Serve in the event of disasters by organizing work teams to help and provide relief where needed
