Gifts to the Campaign: Phases one and Two

Gifts to the campaign in phase one and phase two will be allocated 70% to capital projects at the Retreat, 20% to other regional priorities, and 10% to outreach beyond the region. The allocation of gifts to the future aspirational phase will be decided at that time based on the success of phases one and two along with regional needs and economic and other factors present at the time.

Regional Priorities include: Developing and supporting leaders of congregational transformation and new church ministries, creative programming and leadership for youth and young adult ministries regionwide, and encouraging innovation in congregations and clusters through grants, education, and cohorts.

Outreach Beyond the Region: Will be designated to Week of Compassion. All gifts to the campaign, regardless of the designated purpose, will include 10% to outreach beyond the region.

    Phase  One

Includes projects at the Retreat as itemized on the Retreat's capital improvement budget, including enhancing the existing facilities and developing RV hookup sites as well as resources for the new program ministries across the region and a tithe to Week of Compassion. The monetary request in the first phase will be $2,100,000.

    Phase  Two

Includes construction of a new 10-room lodge at the Retreat with additional resources for expanded regional program ministries and a tithe to Week of Compassion. The monetary request in the second phase is estimated as approximately $5,100,000.

  Phase  Three

This is a future phase that will include constructional of an addition to the lodge towards the long-term goal of constructing a 20-room lodge. The monetary request in this future aspirational phase depends on success of phases one and two along with economic and other factors at that time.
